Telehealth Therapy

Telehealth therapy is also referred as teletherapy or telepsychology. Telehealth includes care delivered via phone, video, or both. Research shows teletherapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy. I use a HIPAA compliant platform that protects your privacy and it is very easy to use. It works on a smart phone, tablet, or computer. Being in a safe and private location is important for telehealth to be helpful.

Telehealth is convenient especially for people living in remote areas, have difficulty accessing childcare, have transportation issues or health problems that hinder one’s ability to get to the office. Telehealth can also be a helpful backup option if weather makes it difficult to travel.
